Configuration on the Web

To remotely configure your IPhone via the web, go to Cisco IPhone User Options
Log in with your Gatorlink username and your VoIP password.

To remotely configure your Voicemail via the web, go to Cisco Personal Communications Assistant
Log in with your Gatorlink username and VoIP password. Note: Requires Internet Explorer 5.0 or above.

Passwords and PINs

There are a total of three passwords and PINs you may have to remember. We recommend setting the password to your gatorlink password, and making the two PINs the same number.

VoIP PIN: This PIN is used on the phones to subscribe to services such as "My Address Book", or "My Fast Dials". It may be changed using the phone configuration web site.
VoIP Password: This is used to access the phone configuration web site and the voicemail configuration web site. It may be changed using the phone configuration web site.
Voicemail PIN: This is used to access your voicemail. It may be changed from the voicemail system, or from the voicemail configuration website.

Phone Numbers:

Most VoIP phones on campus include both a line that can be dialed directly from any phone (known as a DID line), and an internal extension that can only be used from inside the department (known as an intercom or extension). In keeping with the current UF standards for on campus phones, DID lines are 5 digits long, and start with a 3. To map this into a 7 digit number that non UF people may reach, add a 27 in front of the 5 digit DID. For instance 31000 would become 273-1000. In addition, these DIDs are also reachable via Suncom. To find your Suncom number, change the 273 to 602. So 273-1000 would become 602-1000.

Example:
DID = 31000
7 digit number: 273-1000
Suncom number: 602-1000

Meet Me Conferences:

We currently reserve the range of 31020-31049 for "meet me" conferences. This also translates into 273-1020 to 273-1049 and Suncom 602-1020 to 602-1049. See the User Guides above for more on meet me conferences. If a conference session is already in use, you will get a "fast busy" signal when you try to establish it with your IP Phone. If this happens, just choose another number in the range. Up to 6 people may participate in a meet me conference, and non IP Phone and/or non UF users may participate by calling the numbers above once the conference has been established.

Voice Mail

To access your voicemail from your voip phone, press the voicemail button. You should be asked for your password. This is your Voicemail PIN.

To access your voicemail from any phone, dial 273-1000. When you here the "Hello", hit the *. It will ask you for your ID. This is your 5 digit DID. Press #. It will then ask you for your password. This is your Voicemail PIN.
