Internet Explorer certificate installation

To manually install the NS root certificate in Internet Explorer use the following steps:

1. From the main Root Certificate page right click over the "NS root certificate" and choose "Save Target As". Save to a location of your choosing on your computer.

2. In the main browser window, from the menu at the top, select Tools->Internet Options. This should open the "Internet Options" settings window.

From the tabs at the top of the window select "Content". Click on the "Certificates" button in the middle of the window.

This should open the Certificates management window.

Select the tab at the top that says "Trusted Root Certification Authorities". Then select the "Import" button.

This will lead you through a series of steps that will install the certificate. When asked for the file point it to the location you saved it to on your computer. *(IE automatcially looks for files ending in .cer or .crt. You can either tell the Open window to look for All files).

Once completed, this should establish UF Net Services as a trusted certificate authority and any certificates signed by it will automatically be accepted.
